“History Textbooks
now admit that
slavery was
the primary cause of the
Civil War.”
“The very essence of
what we have inherited from slavery
is the idea that it is appropriate,
even ‘natural,’ for whites
to be on top,
blacks on the bottom.”
“Only two textbooks discuss
what might have caused racism.”

But what caused the War of
Northern
Aggression?

the

These “descendents”
denounced slave owners as traitors,
when they repudiated the
“Slavery Bribe”
and nullified Tax Servitude.

Slavery is adopted— because
it rewards those who exert themselves to practice it:
“Shortly after the war,
I met with an honesthearted man
from the North.
We fell, naturally,
into conversation
on the subject of domestic slavery.
He asked me,
“Is it true that in the South
you were accustomed to hitch your negroes to the plough,
and drive them? ”
He asked the question seriously.
I asked him,
“How many negroes would it take
to draw a plough to any purpose? ”—
“Eight or ten,
I calculate,”
said he.
“Well,” said I,
“how much is a mule worth? ”—
“One hundred dollars,” said he.
“How much was a negro? ”—
“One thousand dollars,” said he.
“Well,” said I,
“do you think— to say nothing
of our kind feelings towards our negroes—
that we had no more sense
than to use ten negroes,
which were worth
ten thousand dollars,
to do a work which a mule,
costing one hundred dollars,
would do better? ”—
“Why,” said he,
“I never thought of that.”

slave owners were misguided
when they denied recognition of the same,
identical, aristocratic humanity
which they claimed for themselves and their offspring.
But they chose to buy supplies, tools,
horses and mules, and black workers—
because they were Enticed by the reward
which would result from these productive causes.
Slaves were not expended— as fighting gamecocks
are used for entertainment. Their productive abilities
preserved their lives, and motivated
their mercenary African brethren
to capture them, and sell them to slave traders.
Examine the rewards for subjugating
other human beings, and neutralize
these incentives, to minimize this activity.
Mosquito

suck blood from their targets.
The Industrial Revolution, begun by James Watt
in Manchester, England, introduced
“Enslavement Repellent” into Human relations.
Egyptian Pharaohs employed Human slaves
to move huge rocks and build pyramids.
Muscle-power
was made obsolete by
Primitive
steam-power technology.
Textile machinery was repellent
to enforced slave labor,
which explains why Northern owners sold these
“factors of production”
to Southern buyers, for agricultural work.
You may cringe
when you read this description of black workers.
The abattoir worker must become familiar
with every detail of making Sausage— vitiation,
evisceration,
and maceration.
Identifying and understanding the incentives
to subjugate Human Beings
is the means to neutralize
these enticements.
The authors of our
Declaration of Independence
and United States Constitution,
studied the history of ancient civilizations,
to choose the structure of our common defense,
and limit destructive abuse of that
Government power.
They attempted to separate the necessary functions
of this united Federal Government
by the constitutional limitation,
and separation of delegated powers.
They encouraged
Peaceful, Productive Co-operation—
by defending the freedom to pursue happiness,
and protecting the values that
Individuals chose
to create:
Private Property.
Agricultural Technology
was primitive when
textile mills were built.
Workers could produce much more cloth
with weaving machinery, than hand looms.
This increased the reward for producing cotton:
higher prices enticed those who planted and supplied
this factor of production.
Delay is not pleasant, when one is a slave,
but Free Trade would have rewarded those
who improved the technology of farming.
The repellent factors of technology and human motivation—
rewarded those who discarded
less productive slave labor,
to gain the improvement of Free workers.
These free workers applied reason and learned new skills
to compete for higher pay.
This incentive did not
exist for slaves,
who were forced to abandon the effects
of their thinking and exertions.

Atavistic
Human instinct
subdues
reason,
and
despises
those who excell
beyond their own ineptitude!
The advantages of imitating those
who produce more values
and live better, are ignored by the democracy of hyenas—
shrieking for government
enforced equality,
and taxation of
talented
innovators.
The Morrill Tariff,
and protectionist political posture
of factory owners, strangled the incentives
to abandon slave labor,
and reward workers according to their ability.
Most likely, workers would have been offered
buy-out incentives,
to gain independence.
Joseph Smith, of the
Mormon Church,
“was a great advocate for the
black people.”
“He advocated the freedom, education,
and the granting of ‘equal rights’
to blacks at a time when
only a small minority of Abolitionists
believed that blacks should be granted
equal rights.”
“Free People
of Color”
was a controversial editorial,
published in 1833, by W.W. Phelps.
“It outlines procedures for the migration of free blacks
to Missouri.”
Immigrant to Jamestown
and Plymouth Colony, encouraged more of their
countrymen to join them in this country.
